In addition to the normal functions of a local chapter of the Moon Society, Moon Society Las Vegas serves as the host chapter for the Moon Society's contribution to Project Leto and the Artemis Project in Nevada. The chapter also serves as part-time host for the Lunar Development Conference.
We have not (yet) established a regular meeting schedule or location for Moon Society Las Vegas meetings. Meetings have been held as the need arises and circumstances warrant.
Moon Society Las Vegas is actively seeking office space in the Las Vegas area where we can hang out our shingle. The ideal facility would be a centrally located small office with shared conference room space.
Moon Society Las Vegas was formed in July 1999 as a local chapter of Artemis Society International, and grandfathered in as a chapter of the Moon Society when it was incorporated in July 2000. The chapter currently has 13 members.
